About this Painting:
"Golden Glow" was inspired by my dream of being a fish in my next life—where each day is spent swimming freely, simply existing in harmony with the water. As I meditated on this thought, I reflected on Yemaya, the ocean goddess who, in many cultures, is seen as the Mother of all fish, the mother of all humans, and the spirit of the ocean itself.
 
Yemaya’s presence reminds me of the warmth and love I feel when stepping into my mother’s kitchen—her nurturing care, the comfort of home, and the embrace of unconditional love.
 
This painting carries that same energy—the feeling of being held, supported, and completely at ease in the presence of something greater than yourself. The glowing colors reflect the serenity and expansiveness of the ocean, much like the deep sense of peace I feel when immersed in water.
